Basic information
The basic product line comprises:
- steel constructions for civil and industrial building engineering,
- steel constructions for bridges,
- steel constructions for power industry,
- welded bodies for machinery,
- welded I-sections.
For fabrication of steelwork common steel and higher-strength steel are used. Steel plants: "Pokój" ,"ISD Huta Stali Częstochowa", "Mittal Steel", "Salzgitter Mannesmann" and "Arcelor Group" provide us with sheets and structural shapes.
We fabricate about 600 tons of steelwork monthly, which gives about 7000 tons a year.
Basic manufacturing processes
Our production activity is based on the following workshops:
- preparation shop,
- fitting-welding shop,
- anti-corrosion painting shop,
- auxiliary shops (power and facilities, machine-shop, toolroom).
Dominating manufacturing processes are:
- plastic working, including: shearing and gas cutting of sheets and structural shapes,
- shop assembling of steel structures and machinery bodies,
- welding of constructions,
- anticorrosion protection, including cleaning and painting.
Quality control
Quality control is applied to particular stages of the manufacturing process and to the final products as well. We have a laboratory to make the following examinations:
- chemical analysis of materials,
- metallographic tests,
- material strength tests,
- non-destructive tests of welds - with both X-ray and ultrasonic methods.
Machinery and equipment
We have basic production machines and auxiliary equipment to secure appropriate manufacturing processes.
The basic production machines are the following:
- equipment for cleaning of steel materials, sheets, structural shapes and final products,
- plate shears - up to 25 mm of plate thickness,
- shears for structural shapes,
- sawing machines for structural shapes (AMADA),
- straightening and bending presses (PEARSON - Sweden),
- straightening and bending rolls,
- boring machines,
- drilling boring and milling machines,
- semiautomatic and automatic oxygen - cutting machines (APOLDA - Germany),
- machinery for arc welding, wire gas - shielded and submerged-arc welding (GRANGES - Sweden).
Transportation
Works transport operates our production rooms. It is based on overhead cranes of 8 to 32 tons lifting capacities, battery-electric trucks and industrial cars as well.
The factory has its own railway siding connected to Radomsko railway station.
The factory area is located at the distance of 5 km from Warsaw - Katowice high speed road.
Power and facilities
We have wiring systems with our own transformer substations, water-pipe and sewerage systems, heat distribution system, compressed air and natural gas systems.
We have a gasification station for oxygen, carbon dioxide, acetylene and pipe systems supplying the production rooms.
